Happy Independence Day!

On this day, 237 years ago (I had to do math omg), our founding fathers signed the Declaration of Independence, and officially broke up with England. Nowadays we celebrate this remarkable event with a national holiday: no work, no school, and lots of BBQ! However, how does one dress patriotically without looking cheesy?
My rule for Fourth of July attire is to choose two out of the three colors in the American flag (red, white, and blue) and wear those in my main articles of clothing, and then accessorize with neutral colors and the third color in the flag! So essentially, let’s say I want to wear white and red, I might wear a pair of red shorts and a white tank top, and accessorize with blue sandals and white bracelets. So yeah. But honestly, who doesn’t love a good ol’ flag t-shirt and some jeans!
Anyways, my sister and I did a little photoshoot of our Independence day outfits, so enjoy the unabashed patriotism below.
