Concealer for other purposes

I was given a great Maybelline Coverstick concealer about a month ago that I was sad to discover was too light for my skin tone.

Since I didn’t want to just waste it, I tried to find another way to use it. I’ve discovered it works great as a eye makeup base/primer! The colors of my eyeshadow really stand out and stay in place, even if my lids are oily, or it’s really hot out and I’m sweaty (ew).
Just take the concealer and rub a bit onto your finger, then gently apply it as a wash to your lid. I applied it to only one lid so that later you can see the comparison between the lid with concealer vs the one without.

Then, using an eyeshadow brush, apply your eyeshadow as usual. I’m using the green color in this palette from Icing by Claire’s.

In these photos I am only wearing the eyeshadow. I don’t have on any mascara, eyeliner, foundation, lipstick, etc. Look how much brighter and more colorful the left lid with the concealer underneath looks!
Hope you liked my tips!
