DIY lip color!

Hey hey hey!
Today I have for you a tutorial on DIY lip color. If you’re like me, then you may have a ton of old lipsticks/glosses/etc. sitting around that you don’t know what to do with. Chances are, you’ve seen something like this before, but never tried it out. Try it this time, it works really well!
Old lip glosses, lipsticks
Vaseline (petroleum jelly)
Small microwave safe lidded jars
Stirring stick
Butter knife
Optional-pink, coral, red, etc. eyeshadow/blush

DISCLAIMER: Do not use a lighter, microwave, or knife without an adult’s help if you are a child. And Vaseline (or any other pictured brands) do not sponsor me. And all photos are mine.

Step 1. Get a spoonful of Vaseline and carefully hold the lighter under the spoon and melt the petroleum jelly enough to put it in the jar. Or, if you’re smarter than me, get the squeeze kind and squeeze the petroleum jelly into the bottom of the jar.

Step 2. Put the microwave safe jar with petroleum jelly in it uncovered in the microwave for 30 seconds, or until the Vaseline is liquefied.

Add any lipgloss or blush/eyeshadow you want to color the petroleum jelly, then mix it with the stirrer.

Step 3. If you are using lipsticks as coloring, you must melt the lipstick bullet (yep. It’s called a bullet) before you mix it with the petroleum jelly. Therefore, slice the amount of lipstick you want and put in the spoon. Melt it by holding the lit lighter under the spoon until the lipstick melts.

Then pour it into the melted petroleum jelly in the jar.

If you need to microwave it again, do so for 30 seconds.
Use the stirrer to stir the mixture until it is smoothly mixed.
Put the lid on and place in the refrigerator for five minutes so that it will solidify a bit.

Tada, you’re done! Try out your new color, and enjoy!

^look how well it works!^ πŸ˜€
